You  should aim to brush your teeth at least twice every day.

This should be first thing in a morning, before breakfast, and last thing at night.

You should brush each corner of your mouth for 30 seconds making a total of 2 minutes.  It is important to give the toothpaste this time to strengthen your teeth and not just think of brushing as a way of removing food from the teeth.

You should cover every surface of every tooth and gently include your gums.  Floss and interdental brushes will help to clean the more hard to reach areas of your mouth.

Interdental Brushes

Interdental Brushes as shown above are available at reception

Electric toothbrushes are known to be up to 40x more effective than manual toothbrushes and you should be replacing you toothbrush every three months.

If you have any questions, your dentist will be happy to answer them.
